چکیده

Water loss has become a problem with the balance of water system, including one in industry. General opinion considered evaporation as main justifications for explaining loss, especially area higher daily temperature. A study was conducted on wastewater treatment system owned by manufacturing industry consisting semi-open-air sedimentation and aeration ponds, which suddenly experienced significant deficit its balance. Problem-solving performed 8-Step Problem Solving approach root causes were confirmed estimating evaporation. The actual rate (E) approached pan (Epan) using partial pressure vapour coefficient (Kpan). revealed that (1.67±0.59mm.d-1 1.72±0.62mm.d-1, pond pond, respectively) not cause sudden (R2 = .490, p-value .05) another cause. In parallel, model constructed fitted condition (R .987). countermeasure against followed monthly evaluation 3σ threshold value (UCL 9.55%) showed elimination problem.
